Osmium is built on Chromium, an open-source browser project. Your use of the underlying Chromium components is subject to the Chromium Authors' respective licenses in addition to these Terms.
Certain features — including, but not limited to, publishing publically to the Osmium Addon Store, or usage of cross-device synchronization features — require an Osmium Account. When creating an account:

Osmium supports a modular addon system. Addons extend the functionality of the browser and are distributed exclusively through the Osmium Addon Store.
We reserve the right to remove any addon from the Store that violates our policies, poses a security risk, or is found to be malicious, without prior notice.
Your privacy is important to us. Osmium itself does not collect telemetry, usage data, crash reports, or personally identifiable information by default. Please review our full Privacy Policy for details on what data is and is not collected.
Third-party addons, websites, and services you access through Osmium may collect their own data. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.
Osmium may receive updates from time to time. These updates may add, change, or remove features and functionality. By using Osmium, you acknowledge that the software may change over time. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes.
We are not obligated to provide updates, patches, or continued support for any version of Osmium.
Osmium is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that Osmium will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or compatible with all systems or websites.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Osmium Developments and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Osmium, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of privacy, loss of profits, or system damage.
In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
The Osmium name, logo, and associated branding are the property of Osmium Developments. You may not use our branding in any way that implies endorsement, affiliation, or partnership without our express written consent.
Osmium's source code is built on Chromium and is subject to applicable open-source licenses. Any original code contributed by Osmium Developments is subject to its respective open-source license as published in the project repository.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of Osmium after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
If a change materially affects your rights, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you through the Osmium website, documentation, or direct communication through email.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United States, unless otherwise required by applicable law in your jurisdiction.
